Bee

Some CLs serve 2 or more orgs. They would need different Bee profiles depending on which org they are representing.

On my phone I wasn’t shown the Welcome to Bee modal, but when I logged in for the first time after downloading the app on my laptop, I was shown it. I wonder if some sort of UserHasSeenWelcomeModal state is stored as associated with my device instead of per the account? In any case expected experience (I imagine) is that as a New User, I should see the Welcome to Bee modal upon first creating my account/logging in. Repro steps: Download app on iPhone Create account, log in, delete account Don't delete the app Recreate account Upon "first" time logging in, user doesn't see the Welcome modal (edited)

So CLs can easily send Doers to Bee or the landing page from their socials.

Right now, zooming in to a certain level displays POIs that are the same color as some activity circles. They may provide value as landmarks during navigation, but in general are conflated with Bee activities.

It would be great for doers to be able to share an activity in messaging, not through social media.

After signing it, if I press the back button on my phone, it logs me out. The same happens if I log in, open an activity, and press back twice.

There is so much fun stuff happening that sometimes it can be hard to find exactly what I am looking for on the app. By incorporating the level 2 taxonomy terms into filtering, users can easily select their specific area of interest. If these filters were dynamic based on what was present on the map, that would also act as a sort of bulletin board of its own.

A couple people I've seen use the app for the first time have missed the jump to current location circle on the map. Highlighting it or calling it out in the initial screen would help prevent that. There was also a recommendation to display the current location dot on the map on initial load (not just after the current location is pressed). I'm partial to this, but also don't like apps that request location on load, so perhaps this would just be if location was already shared.

Sometimes I come across an activity I want to keep an eye on but can't commit to yet. It can be difficult to find it again later because there's lots to do on Bee! It'd be great if I could save it to my profile to check again later.

It's so cool that Bee already has so many activities I can go to in my community! Sometimes though, I just want to pitch in, and finding volunteer opportunities among all the other map items is difficult. If it was possible to set a field on an activity that indicates it is a volunteer opportunity, this could then be filtered on the map with "do" and "go" options. This would default to both selected.
